Practice for the winter season begins on Nov, 17 2008. Re-certification forms or Physical exams are required before a student can participate.  Winter Physicals will be administered on Wednesday 11/12. from 9:00 to 12:00  Click here for more information or to download the appropriate forms.

The Colonial League has announced the "All League Soccer Team" for 2008.  Congratulations to:

Our (14 wins and 5 losses) Soccer Team defeated Weatherly High School in the quarterfinal round of the District XI Soccer Tournament by a 5-0 score.   The boys will face Catasauqua in a  semifinal game will next Tuesday at JB Crum Stadium in Allentown at 7:30. Admission will be charged.

TENNIS
Best wishes to a courageous and undefeated tennis player, Monica Gupta, who suffered acute appendicitis  shortly after "sealing the deal" (with partner Lauren Comes) in the deciding match of the District Finals last Saturday. 

Congratulations!!! to our
21-1 District Championship Girls' Tennis team!
The team defeated Archbishop Carroll of Radnor by a 5-0 score in the  "state qualifier" competition . On Saturday the team, playing without Monica, lost a close 3-2 match to Beaver Area HS in the first round of the 
PIAA State Championships at Hershey. 
What a great season for the coach Tom Schoeninger and his girls!!!   Colonial League Champions and District XI Team  Championships!!!

CROSS COUNTRY
Another great "pat on the back" of
Greg Duckloe!  Greg became Moravian Academy's first ever District XI Cross Country Champion at yesterday's  Championship Meet. Greg will be joined by qualifier Lauren Stockunas at the State Championship Meet in Hershey next Saturday. Congratulation to both of these dedicated athletes.

The Boys' team placed 7th  and the Girl  finished 11th out of the 23 teams in the "AA" District Cross Country Championships.  Coaches Bill Reesman, Mike Squarcia and Nicole Lisicky have done wonderful things with their charges. 

Undefeated Greg Duckloe Placed FIRST in the  the Colonial League Cross Country  Championships on Thursday at DeSalles University. Greg's name will be "enshrined" on our gym walls!  Congratulations on a huge accomplishment!

FIELD HOCKEY
The
Field Hockey Team lost to  Palisades High School in the quarterfinal round of the District XI  Tournament.  The team had a great season finishing the regular season schedule with 13 wins  and 5 losses.

Kara Lubsen, Julia Tallarico and Victoria Tersigni were all honored as "Colonial League First Team Field Hockey" performers. Congratulations!!!

 Congratulation to Erik Ivarsson (3rd) and  Zack Althouse on placing 3rd and 6th respectively at the Colonial League Golf Tournament and thus earning the honor of being named as  "All Colonial League"  team members.
